LGO Champion gets 'Best Dog Care' award
Not enough, the dominator of the 2010 Grande Odyssée Emil Inauen from Switzerland won also the most important award, the 'Best dog Care'.
Special awards were given during the award ceremony that closes La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc 2010.
'This prestigious award means very much for us' said Barbara Inauen after the ceremony. 'It is a dream for every Musher to win one of the biggest race and we worked hard for that goal. But nevertheless, we never would loos our 'dogs first' ethics to reach our goals.'
The Swiss couple is well known all around for their proper kind of mushing sport. The new film with the title "That's Mushing" documents impressively the very personal way of life Emil and Barbara Inauen leads for their dogs.
'This price goes also to my crew, especially to my main handler Samuel Eisenhut', said a very happy Emil Inauen after.
